In heavy-duty environments, looks and price are never the whole story. What truly determines whether a skip bin survives years of loading, impact, and corrosion is welding quality.

At Aresbins, welding is our core competence: not just neat to the eye, but strong, long-lived, and low-failure in real use.

Why Welding Matters Most

Skip bins don’t carry a static load—they endure repeated drops, prying, dragging, torsion, and vibration. Poor welds crack, leak, and deform. Good welds unlock the base steel’s performance, turning design strength into dependable service life.

Stable, Clean, Tough Welds

We combine robotic welding with precision fixtures, keeping travel speed, heat input, and bead path consistent. At high-stress locations we use continuous full-length welds, double-sided fillets, or multi-pass techniques to ensure penetration and strength.

After slag/spatter removal, grinding, and chamfering, beads are refined and transitions smooth—visually close to “seamless”—and the surface is ready for superior coating adhesion.

Consistency From the Source

Plates are CNC/laser cut for clean edges and controlled gaps. Custom jigs lock angles and dimensions to reduce assembly stress and thermal distortion. For thick plate, corners, hinges, and other high-stress areas, we prioritize full-length continuous welds with reinforcement to reduce fatigue and crack initiation risk.

Process by Standard, Verified by Results

We operate under defined Welding Procedure Specifications (WPS). Every unit undergoes 100% visual inspection, dimensional and squareness checks, and batch NDT (such as dye penetrant or magnetic particle), plus load and leak tests where applicable.

Each batch can be supplied with process photos and QC records for full traceability.

Strong Structure, Longer-Lasting Coating

A uniform bead profile enables a more even protective coating. With abrasive blasting as pretreatment and tailored primer/topcoat systems (epoxy, polyurethane, zinc-rich options), edges and weld toes receive robust coverage—significantly improving long-term corrosion resistance.

Built Not Just to Work—But to Keep Working

Aresbins welding aims for lower maintenance and total cost of ownership:

  • Greatly reduced risk of cracks and leaks, cutting downtime and rework.
  • Strong resistance to impact and prying at door frames, base beams, and lifting points.
  • Long-term retention of stiffness and geometry, even under tough site conditions.

Applications & Customization

Whether it’s 2–6 m³ Skips, 10–30 m³ Hooklifts, or Craneable site bins, we build to your drawings and requirements: material (e.g., Q235/NM series), plate thickness, door style, reinforcements, attachments, and branding/paint are all configurable.

We align with AS/NZS requirements and tune designs to Australian operating conditions.

Good Welding Makes Strength Visible

Appearance gets you in the door—quality wins the work. With stable processes, consistent beads, and verifiable QC, Aresbins turns “good-looking” into durable, and “low price” into peace of mind.

Share your sizes/plate thickness/quantities and delivery window. We can start with a small pilot and provide QC photos/videos before shipment—so you can see, clearly, the Aresbins difference in welding.
